I love to find surprises in the throats of daylilies. Here, a green tree frog is taking a rest in a bloom of h. Elegant Universe (Stamile 2006). The photo was taken during a visit to Tim Bell's Sycamore Georgia garden in 2010. You just never know what you'll find if you take the time to 'stop and smell the lilies.'
