Okay folks. Here it is, my first bloom of the 2013 season. This is h. Stenciled Impressions - Stamile 2002. Not only is it remarkable that I have a bloom on Feb. 11, 2013, but this flower bloomed while I was gone on my trip to Italy the last of January. I just wasn't around to see it. I knew it did because I had to deadhead it when I returned. And, if that isn't amazing enough, it is registered as a DORMANT. Pretty amazing since I live in South Central Flower, Zone 10. Feelings go out to all my northern daylily friends suffering with tons of snow right now.
