Today I went over to my friend Linda Sample's garden on the way to pick up some bags of oak leaves to go into my garden as mulch. She had some really nice blooms today and here are three of them, from top to bottom: h. Circle of Fire, Grace/Smith 2005; h. Serenade of Springtime, E. Salter; and Isle of Zanzibar, Kaskel 1996. Linda and I have AHS Display gardens so if you are ever in the Tampa Bay area be sure to stop at the gardens and take a stroll.
